The company wants to equip all machines with the service solution from January 2016 onwards. More than 20 service sites around the world will then be connected to the automated processes. The Remote Service and Monitoring modules will be used first. Global networking has many benefits for GF Machining Solutions and its customers: efficiency increases and times to reaction reduce where service is needed. Customers can call all the relevant service data not only through the Customer-Cockpit as usually, but also on their Smartphones.
With its digital services, GF Machining Solutions is taking the first step towards the smart factory of the future. A smart spare parts shop is to be connected at a later time as well.
