CWIEME, the Coil Winding Expo in Berlin, was an important industry meeting site this spring for Heinrich Georg GmbH Maschinenfabrik. The machine constructor had our service tool symmedia SP/1 in its trade fair luggage.
To improve internal service organization and to offer his customers a clear added value, Heinrich Georg started using the module Remote Service for faster and optimized processing of service requests from his customers this year. For the trade fair visitors, the company organized live presentations several times a day to make the functions of symmedia SP/1 in practice clear. For this, a fault case was simulated and solved before the eyes of the audience. We think that was a great idea! Heinrich Georg is already happy with some customer requests for the service tool after the trade fair.
Heinrich Georg will move step by step to complete networking in future: After developing internal service structures, connection of the Maintenance and Monitoring modules is planned for the near future. Together, we are developing an Industry 4.0 strategy customized to the company. This way, Heinrich Georg will be perfectly prepared for any service case.
